Main Responsibility: Provide administrative and marketing support to the Office of the Commercial Counselor
Tasks and Duties:
- Receive and respond to general inquiries of prospective importers/buyers/investors.
- Disseminate to relevant Japanese companies and government agencies various information on trade and investments activities of the Philippines.
- Maintain Post’s social media platforms.
- Create and maintain database/directories of business associations and individual buyer and investor contacts, statistical economic data, and trade and investments events.
- Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, programs of inbound and outbound private/public sector missions.
- Implement and maintain office systems, work procedures and property inventory.
- Assist in financial and administrative matters.
- Perform other tasks and duties as instructed by the Head of Post on trade and investments matters.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, economics, marketing, international trade, computer science or related field.
- Prior Work Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in the above business fields.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English. Level 3 Japanese proficiency if non-Japanese.
- Knowledge: Computer literacy and social media
