The following are eligible to apply for accreditation:

  1. Mass Media entities- refers to local media, international media and other media that intend to report on the conduct of the 2022 National Elections overseas.
  2. Election observers- refers to those who will be exclusively observing or monitoring the conduct of the 2022 National Elections in the Foreign Service Posts.
  3. Civil Society Partners or Volunteers – refers to overseas Filipino communities, governmental organizations and civil society groups.

General Requirements for Accreditation:

  1. Accomplished Accreditation Application Form;
  2. Two (2) photographs measuring 2 inches by 2 inches or 5 cm. by 5 cm., recently taken in the last six (6) months;
  3. An endorsement letter from the organization they are representing.
  4. For mass media entities, an endorsement from the appropriate officer of the newspaper company, television station, radio station
    internet company, broadcast entity, or film distributor which employs the applicant or has committed to air, distribute, or commission the work; and
  5. In case of freelancers, a valid assignment letter from the bona fide media organization for which the freelancer is on assignment
    or proof of his/her previous accomplishments that are highly visible, repected, and widely-recognized.

NOTICE OF HEARING

To All Interested Parties:

Please be notified that the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan will convene on 11 November 2021 at 10:00 in the morning at the Conference Room B of the Embassy, 5-15-5 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo-to 106-0032, to hear applications for registration/certification, reactivation, transfer of registrations, correction of wrong entries of overseas voters, and other applications filed from 01 October 2021 – 14 October 2021.

Any interested party who would like to interpose any objection to the list may file their opposition in writing addressed to the RERB of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, 5-15-5 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo-to, 106-0032. The last day to file opposition is on 08 November 2021.
