The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan successfully conducted its last Consular Outreach Mission for 2018 in Okinawa on 23 and 24 November 2018.

The 6-member team assisted 318 passport applicants, 2 notarial applicants, and responded to numerous consular queries during the two-day outreach.

As of December 2017, there are 2,040 Filipinos living in Okinawa Prefecture.

The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo conducted four consular missions in 2018 in Shizuoka, Sendai, Hokkaido and Okinawa to provide consular services for Filipinos in far to reach areas in Japan.

The Philippine Embassy is inviting qualified applicants who are productive, motivated, and hard working for the position of TRANSLATOR.

Qualifications:

1. Japanese or Filipino national; Male or Female; between 25 and 40 years old;
2. Physically- and mentally-fit to work;
3. University/college degree holder;
4. JLPT N1 passer for Filipino applicants; and
5. Previous work experience is an added advantage.

Terms of Employment:

1. Six months and subject to renewal; and
2. Salary and compensation package based on qualifications and experience.
