Nakatanggap po ang Embahada ng mga ulat mula sa ilang Filipino na nabiktima ng mga investment at remittance scams.
Ang investment scam ay nanghihikayat ng mga Filipino sa pamamagitan ng mga pangakong matataas na profit margins or return on investment na makukuha sa mabilis na panahon.
Ang remittance scam naman ay nangangako ng napakataas na exchange rates kumpara sa offer ng mga established na remittance companies or banks.
Ang mga scam na ito ay karaniwang makikita sa social media. May pagkakataon din na ang mga kaibigan o kasama sa trabaho ang magbibigay ng mga ganitong offer.
Hangad po ng Embassy na paalalahanan ang publiko na mag-ingat sa ganitong mga modus operandi. Para tiyakin ang inyong seguridad, sa mga kilala at established na banks or remittance companies lang maglagak ng pera.
Kung nais namang mag-invest sa Pilipinas, tiyakin na ito ay registered sa Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) o sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

- Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Report of Death
- Notaryo sa mga affidavit, Special Power of Attorneys (SPA) at iba pang dokumento,
- NBI clearance

We will make an official announcement of the schedule of our 2018 Consular Outreach Missions soon.

7-Day Visa-Free Entry for Temporary Visit (Tourism/Business)
The following are allowed to enter the Philippines for pleasure and recreation purposes (as tourists or to visit friends or relatives), and/or business (of commercial, industrial or professional character) of a temporary nature without a visa for a stay not exceeding seven (7) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports are valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay:
- Holders of British National Overseas (BNO) passports
- Holders of Macao-Portuguese passports
- Holders of People’s Republic of China passports coming for tourism purposes only and with either a valid Australian, Canadian, Japanese, Schengen, or US visa

- 英国海外市民 (BNO) 旅券所持者
- マカオで発行されたポルトガル旅券
- 中華人民共和国旅券所持者で、オーストラリア、カナダ、日本、アメリカ合衆国、シェンゲン協定加盟国の有効なビザ(短期滞在査証を除く)を有する者。但し、渡航目的は観光のみに限定される。
