ABOUT RTB 28
The National Government through the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) is set to offer the 28th Tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB 28) this August 2022. RTBs are part of the government’s savings mobilization program designed to make government securities accessible to retail investors and promote financial literacy in the country. The RTB 28 is a 5.5-year, low-risk, fixed-income investment that will provide interest on a quarterly basis. Proceeds from the issuance will be directed to the country’s emergency, recovery, and resiliency funds to support the country following the effects brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
